Roman Reigns replies to Cesaro

On May 17, 2021, Cesaro took to Twitter to express his grievance following his loss against Roman Reigns. ‘The Swiss Superman’ wrote,

So close

Cesaro’s tweet reflected his emotions after failing to win the WWE Universal Championship. ‘The Head of The Table‘ wasted no time and kicked Cesaro while he was down, showing his superiority. Reigns replied,

but so very, very far. #BackOfTheLine #AndStill

Despite Cesaro giving more than his best, he could not manage to pin the ‘Tribal Chief’. The match itself was a gruesome one with both WWE superstars going back and forth at each other.

The majority of the fans weren’t too worried as they believed that their ‘Head of The Table’ would win the match without a shadow of a doubt.

Regardless of their belief, they cannot deny that there were moments where ‘the Swiss Superman’ provoked some hesitation over those conclusions. Despite all odds, Reigns was successful in retaining his WWE Universal Championship after leaving Cesaro unconscious.

Roman’s ‘Special’ message

Roman recently posted a video message on Twitter while he was training at the gym. The caption read, A message from your Tribal Chief… Usoswhere he said,

“Show up and win, show up and win. That’s what I did. It’s because of moments like right now, I’m already putting in the work. I’m special, man. I’m the best generational talent, I’m that transcendent landmark where the old school meets the new school, you know what I’m saying? There ain’t nobody like me in the whole world, in all of entertainment, sports entertainment, professional sports, there ain’t nobody like me. And I told y’all, like the majority of my opponents, I respected that man Cesaro. I respect that man. I said he’s one of the greatest wrestlers, in-ring wrestlers, in the whole world. So what did I do? I beat him at his own game.

Reigns concluded the video message by addressing Jimmy Uso that they will have a talk this Friday at SmackDown.
