Ronda Rousey surprised all fans when she ended her wrestling hiatus to appear at Lucha VaVoom weeks ago. After that, the next surprise came when she appeared at a PPV hosted by PW Revolver out of nowhere. Even though it was a sudden appearance, several wrestling fans loved it and are still talking about it even though several hours have passed. Rousey’s tag team partner also took the liberty to update these wrestling fans with a backstage photo.

Shafir uploaded a selfie she clicked backstage with Ronda Rousey in the frame. This might have been taken after their tag team matches together at the recent ‘Revolver Unreal’. While uploading the picture in which we can see two wholesome smiles, the AEW star also wrote, “Let me tell you bout my best friend.

Rousey teamed up with Shafir to take on ROH Women’s Champion Athena and Billie Starkz at the PW Revolver event UNREAL.

This ‘friendship’ between Ronda Rousey and an AEW star suggests that she could bring over her ‘best friend’ to AEW Full Gear in a few hours.

Even if this doesn’t end up happening, one thing we can presume from such pictures is that Rousey is having fun working independently without much legal obligation to a certain company.

A lot of fans found Rousey’s WWE run last year pretty mediocre by her standards. They wanted more action for her in addition to captivating storylines. However, before WWE had the chance to satisfy most of her fans, Rousey left the promotion after SummerSlam. And now, the two appearances she has made so far have helped get her fans back on the enthusiasm.

And this isn’t fun just for her fans. In fact, Rousey claimed the exact same thing when she took to Twitter following her surprise appearance at PW Revolver’s PPV event.
