CM Punk has become one of the most controversial figures in wrestling in one year. While everyone agrees that WWE did not give him the best platform, no one ever discussed his behavioral issues. But now after Tony Khan gave him everything to work with in AEW, people are starting to talk about his backstage issues with several people. But now that he is no longer with the company, fans in AEW are berating him.

There’s nothing we can do about the present, but at least we can remember the past year and everything Punk has done since. Coming back in August, the former AEW World Champion first tried to build up the AEW home talent. His matches with Darby Allin, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Dany Garcia were refreshing to see for an ex-WWE talent.
But the feud that certified his return was his rivalry with the MJF. Being a fan of Punk, just like us, Maxwell shaped one of the best storylines in recent history. Also, their dog hound blood match was the most exciting and thrilling match this year. But things started derailing when he went after the big one in AEW, the World Champion, Hangman Adam Page.

But even after everything that came out, these fans and wrestling Twitter are still behind Punk even if the AEW fanbase is not.
Wrestling Twitter comes to the rescue of CM Punk after ruthless AEW fans chants
During the Trios Championship match at Full Gear, AEW fans were chanting, “F**k CM Punk”. And this chant was during Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Given everything in the past about the Elite and Punk, this was crude and harsh for Punk. But Punk fans and wrestling Twitter will not give in easily to a secondhand account of everything. They still support and this is their support:
And if his music had hit the place would explode and he would get a Massive pop

No, but I think fans are seeing him for who he really is. Albeit this is a bit much. Would be pretty wild if he showed up tho.

Strange that People cried for 7 years to back and now they are chanting this How time changed So quick I think Now I understood why WWE didn't tried to bring him back in wrestling he has issues he wants to be that No 1 Guy and he would have Furious seeing Reigns as No 1 over him

It is strange, but it is true as well.
If he came back they'd pop just as loud

Just a thing that Punk’s biggest rival, MJF, in AEW would say.
The genius of a work if CM Punk will come back he be automatically a heel and im here for it

People wanting to see Punk back in AEW is a testament that this chant is not the consensus.
CM Punk should rejoin WWE at the earliest putting aside his ego before he is forgotten! @CMPunk 🤝🏻 @TripleH

This is not even the wildest suggestion among these.
