Sasha Banks and Naomi Can’t Contain Their Excitement for Newest WWE SmackDown Superstar

The 2021 WWE Draft guaranteed the debut of many NXT superstars on the main roster. Not only are the fans excited to see the young developing talents perform with the big names, but also the WWE superstars can’t stay calm. Sasha Banks and Naomi recently revealed their excitement after WWE released a promo for the main roster debut of a former NXT superstar.
The former NXT superstar is none other than the hugely talented Xia Li. Li had been in top form since January after going through a transformation. Following her return during NXT’s New Year’s Evil special, Li dominated her opponents. She even defeated Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter in a handicap match.

She is the first Chinese woman to ever compete in a WWE ring. Xia Li got drafted to WWE SmackDown during the 2021 WWE Draft, but is yet to make her main roster debut. Sasha Banks and Naomi picked up an impressing victory over Shayna Baszler and Natalya
Sasha Banks paired up with Naomi to take on the team of Natalya and Shayna Baszler in the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. Natalya and Shayna looked to be in control of the match until Banks got tagged in by Naomi.
The match totally turned in favor of Banks and Naomi soon after. Ultimately, Naomi pinned Natalya with a folding press to pick up the victory for her team. Following the match, Naomi took to Twitter to appreciate Banks’ efforts and thanked her.

Naomi even posted another tweet that had a lovely picture of her with Sasha Banks. This victory surely meant a lot for Naomi and ‘The Boss‘ definitely had a big part to play in that.

But the disappointing thing about the latest episode was Shotzi Blackheart’s absence. Shotzi and Banks are currently involved in a heated feud on SmackDown. It all started after Shotzi blamed Banks for her loss against Charlotte Flair on SmackDown.

The WWE universe will definitely want to see Shotzi and Banks go one-on-one once again before one of them challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
