She claimed that she had no idea what was going on in the group and that they betrayed her. This episode saw a tag match scheduled between Kai and Bayley vs The Kabuki Warriors. However, further development in the story had fans on social media crying out for Sasha Banks. Many have even called for Banks to show up on WWE despite her AEW debut coming up.

After Dakota Kai betrays Bayley on SmackDown, fans call for Sasha Banks’ return

There is no denying the fact that Sasha Banks and Bayley are the closest of friends. The two form half of the Four Horsewomen of the WWE. Starting their careers in NXT, the two gained prominence thanks to their excellent in-ring work and chemistry. Despite being pitted against each other multiple times, the two have remained close even after Banks departed from the company. This was the reason why, after Kai betrayed Bayley during their Tag Team match, fans started predicting Banks’ return. According to them, Banks will return at WrestleMania XL to ensure Bayley beats Iyo Sky and Damage CTRL.

The fans speculate that since Bayley will face Sky for the WWE Women’s title at Mania, Damage CTRL will be by her side. Someone has to have Bayley’s back during the match to even out the odds. This is where Banks falls into place. The two have a very strong bond both inside and outside the ring. Despite Banks being set to debut on AEW as Mercedes Moné, fans still hope for a last-moment swerve.
