WWE Intercontinental Champion and New Day Member Big E introduced the Champions, while Styles and Omos came out later on. Although Omos stood in the ring to face the New Day first, Kofi made Styles be the contender.

What followed afterwards was a string of offenses from New Day as AJ Styles got subdued. Despite the Phenomenal One’s repeated trials, Omos could not make the tag.

However, during an opening, Styles rushed in to tag the 7’3″ giant. As soon as he stepped in, New Day got dominated like never before. Every offense from the champions was subdued.

Omos single-handedly won the tag team titles

The giant rampaged into the ring as he consistently broke the RAW Tag Team Champions. With backbreakers, body slams, and more, New Day could barely move.

Towards the end, Omos body slammed Kofi Kingston and put his foot on the latter’s chest. In utter humiliation, New Day lost the titles to Omos and AJ Styles.

The match was going in another direction when AJ Styles was in the match, No one thought the New Day would lose. But as soon as Omos stepped in, the match went in Styles’ favor.

The former basketball player put up a stellar performance in his WWE in-ring debut. Triple H already gave a testament to his abilities in an interview with Metro.

They don’t see him in the gym, still at the PC, they don’t see him in the ring at the PC,” Triple H said. “They don’t see him training every day. Still, to be something special. He’s putting in the effort. He just really is one of those hard-working, hard work ethical people that is putting in the effort to really be good at this, and I think he will be.”
