

This year’s first WWE Premium Live Event, Royal Rumble 2023 was full of surprises and amazing moments and it phenomenally carved the road to WrestleMania. And the one who stood tall among all was no one other than the Women’s Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.
Currently, she is scheduled to face Charlotte Flair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s championship at WrestleMania 39. Rhea Ripley is undoubtedly the emerging star of the professional wrestling world. Some fans even believe that she is born to rule the industry. However, her high school teachers didn’t think the same.

Rhea Ripley reveals that her teachers never wanted her to be a wrestler
Recently, Rhea Ripley spoke to ‘ The Advertiser’. She talked about several things including her WrestleMania match, and making her childhood dream come true.
During the interview, she also unfolded a secret chapter of her life. She revealed that even though being a wrestler was always her dream, for her school teachers, it wasn’t an ideal job. Now that Ripley is headlining WrestleMania, she decided to take a shot at them.

Ripley said that she wants her teachers to see the match as most of them never understood her passion for wrestling, and only a few were really supportive and understanding. She also mentioned that for her teachers, working at a bank was the best career choice for her.
Talking about her high school experience, Rhea Ripley said, “I hope all my school teachers are watching, Some of them just didn’t understand. I think I had like two or three that were, like, you should do whatever you dream of. Whatever you desire, follow it. You can do it. But then a lot of them were like, you know, maybe you should work at a bank.”

By winning this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, Rhea didn’t just get the WrestleMania main event match, she also broke several records along with that.

Rhea broke several records on Royal Rumble night
Even though the entire Royal Rumble PLE was filled with jaw-dropping moments, Rhea Ripley turned out to be the one in the spotlight by becoming the first woman to win the Rumble match as the first entrant and became only the fourth superstar to do it overall.
She also made a record for spending the longest time in a women’s Royal Rumble match with the WWE Universe showering her with love for that amazing performance.
