Becky Lynch found out that she was pregnant and now had to find a way to vacate the title.

She confronted her fiance Seth Rollins. Lynch had the idea to drop the title after a loss, but Seth was against the same.

“Is there a way you can beat me real quick? Colby is like no! No! No! You are not!

“Then we talked a lot and decided like what if there is a tournament for the no.1 contender, so that the people, they do not know that they are actually competing for the title.

“Then right as they go to have that last match, whoever gets there at the end, we’ll tell them that this is actually for the title. But Money in the Bank was happening at the same time, so it was too confusing to merge with it and they just decided they’ll go with the Money in the Bank ladder match,” Becky Lynch said.

Thus, WWE and Lynch decided to hand out the title to the Money in the Bank ladder match-winner.

Asuka won the matchup and came to RAW next night with the briefcase.

What followed was an emotional segment with Lynch announcing her pregnancy and subsequently revealing that the ladder match was for the RAW Women’s Championship.
