71-Year-Old WWE Legend, Who Made Millions Selling BBQ Sauce, Reveals He Invested ‘Thousands and Thousands of Dollars’ In An Unthinkable Venture

It never hurts to have a side hustle apart from having a regular job. And the who’s who of the wrestling world are known to invest their fortune in different business ventures. One such WWE legend recently revealed that he has heavily invested in an unthinkable business.
Merely succeeding in the industry does not work for everyone. It’s always better to have a way of earning from other avenues as well. Former WWE commentator Jim Ross has made millions by selling JR’s BBQ Sauce. And he recently spoke about another venture that he has put his money into.
WWE legend opens up about his business venture

The 71-year-old said he had put a lot of his fortune into a cannabis venture. Speaking at his Grilling JR podcast, he said, “I’ve invested thousands and thousands of dollars in my family’s cannabis operation, which I think our dispensary is going to be opening in a couple of months as things seem to be progressing.”
JR has certainly taken a punt on an unusual business idea that many won’t. The laws around marijuana have loosened over the years. Many states permit its use to a certain limit, but it is a whole different prerogative when it comes to the plant’s consumption as a drug.

And Ross does not see any harm in the use of marijuana if it is consumed for its medicinal value. In the same podcast, he spoke that there were many good reasons to consume the product.
Ross advocates for getting educated on the topic
The current AEW commentator who has played a significant part in Vince McMahon-led WWE as well said, “There’s a lot worse things that we can do with our lives than smoking pot. I think it’s almost worn out. I think there’s so many people getting educated to it.”
He further added, “Gummies for sleep and things of that nature. There’s a lot of good reasons to consume the product,” Ross certainly made his personal opinion on the matter known, particularly on the medicinal aspects.

Marijuana use has always been a hot topic of discussion for a very long time. Veteran Jim Ross, who always shines a light on past events, definitely clarified on which side of the spectrum he lies in this case.
Moreover, he also revealed that he has a substantial amount invested in the cannabis venture. As long as things are on the right side of the law, there should be no problems whatsoever.
