

Wrestling Legend Dutch Mantell is one of the well-known faces in the business. Despite all the time he is in the industry, modern fans know him for his role as Zeb Colter in WWE. Recently, he shared a tweet stating that he was robbed and sent to the emergency room. He claimed that it happened while he was walking on the streets of Nashville.

Hours after Mantell shared the tweet about getting robbed, he shared another tweet. Shockingly, the former wrestling manager told his followers that he was joking about being robbed. He tweeted, “I made a tweet earlier that said I got robbed on the streets in Nashville and went to the ER. It was a JOKE.
He added, “I apologize for those that took it as legit. I appreciate all the msgs asking if I’m OK. I am. Humbled by the concern guys.”

However, after the second tweet that he quickly shared to clear the air, he got some backlash from the fans. Mantell didn’t expect this reaction from his followers.

Mantell’s followers weren’t happy about the wrestling legend sharing such a joke. Nevertheless, he was happy to see the concern expressed by the fans. He appreciated all the messages he received from the fans.
Even though this was meant to be a “joke” and fans expressed their concern, some bashed the wrestling legend for his joke. Clearly, as per the fans, this wasn’t a great way to show he still got gas left in the tank to work a promo.

Before sharing this joke, Colter tagged TNA legend James Storm in his tweet. He joked about where the former TNA World Champion was when he was at ER. However, Storm reverted to Mantell’s tweet, sharing his concern.
