It’s no breaking news that fans have a list of dream matches. However, what is less known about are the dream matches of Superstars. For instance, Shayna Baszler has a dream match, and it’s someone almost every wrestling fan knows!

During her conversation with Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, Baszler revealed that a match against Ronda Rousey would surely be one that would blow everyone’s minds away.

“Ron and I have talked about this after the Ultimate Fighter. I was at a stage in my life where like the world fell apart. I went through this stupid breakup and I broke my ankle, and all this stuff. Ronda had flown me out to California…. I went out there and she really helped me. I remember we were sitting around.. celebrating something.”

“We’re drinking and making toasts so I remember toasting like ‘Ronda, I am going to give you the fight that you deserve to thank you for what you did for me in my life’. And I remember the coaches at the time were like ‘that’s the best toast ever’.”

Not only did Shayna Baszler reveal whom and why she wanted to wrestle, she has a particular event in mind for the same too.

“That’s a WrestleMania. We’ll see. It has to. You know, WrestleMania is coming up so it’s probably not this one per se but it would have to be a spot.”

What is Shayna Baszler currently doing in WWE?

Currently, Shayna Baszler is in a tag team with Nia Jax, and they hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Their most recent rivalry was against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

In a long rivalry that saw Reginald transitioning from being on Banks and Belair’s side to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax’s side, the latter team managed to walk out unscathed.

The teams clashed at Fastlane 2021 and Baszler and Jax successfully kept their title against Banks and Belair.

As of now, the company has announced no matches for Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax at the upcoming WrestleMania.

If the company features a Women’s Battle Royal at WrestleMania, it’s possible Baszler and Jax might take part in that event. However, with only two days of WrestleMania, it doesn’t seem like a huge possibility.
