“She Is a Better Person Than Me…” – Fans in Awe of Becky Lynch for Keeping Grudges Aside to Call WWE Hall of Famer When the Latter Was Released

WWE released Road Dogg last year in January which came as a shock to many fans. But later in the same year after Vince McMahon’s retirement Paul Levesque aka Triple H took over as the Chief Content Officer of the company and brought him back. Since then, Dogg has been working for WWE as the Senior Vice President of Live Events.

Recently, the WWE Hall of Famer revealed to the fans that there was only one superstar on the WWE roster who called him up after his release from the company and that was Becky Lynch.

Road Dogg praises Becky Lynch

On the latest Oh, You Didn’t Know podcast episode, the WWE Legend, and Casio Kid had a chat regarding some of the major events that took place five years ago, in the year 2018.

During the show, Dogg revealed that The Man was “one of the only people” in WWE “talent-wise” who called him after the Stamford-based pro wrestling promotion cut ties with him in early 2022.

The former WWE tag team champion added, “It blew my mind that she gave a c**p enough about me to call. And say, ‘Hey, I’m sorry.’”

During the interview, he also mentions that he “always really liked” Lynch and her “accent.” He said he feels that the Irish Lass Kicker is “cool” and “beautiful.” He added that from “day one” he knew she was “something special” and a “superstar.”

The WWE Universe reacts to The Man’s kind gesture

After this statement from Dogg went viral on the internet, fans were quick to give their reactions over social media platforms. The WWE Universe spoke highly of The Man for being such a kind person.

In addition, fans did not shy away from taking a shot at the former DX member while praising Big Time Becks at the same time. Some fans believe that he did not do justice to Lynch’s character when he was working behind the scenes at WWE.

Fans claim that the former Road Doog booked the Irish lass Kicker wrong in the past. But still, she put her grudges aside and cared enough to call him after his release from WWE.
