“She Tried to Throw Me Out..”: Ronda Rousey on How Her Old ‘Friend’ Spoiled Her WWE Return in Early 2022

The ring of WWE has seen the beginning and end of several friendships. One addition to the list is Ronda Rousey and the two-time world champion. The companionship of the two has hit rock bottom during the Royal Rumble.

It shook the 35-year-old wrestler after witnessing her friend cheat her in the ring. She still has got no explanation for that. However, Rowdy is looking forward to her friend, Natalya, explaining her actions.

The Royal Rumble, which happened earlier this year, has seen some shocking episodes. During the event, Rowdy’s old friend attacked her out of nowhere and even tried to eliminate her. 

Ronda Rousey on Natalya’s betrayal

The two-time WWE women’s champion also has a YouTube channel of her own. With a good amount of subscribers, her YouTube channel updates her fans about her personal life and career.

In her recent YouTube video, Rousey mentioned her former friend, who backstabed her in the Royal Rumble. While talking about Natalya’s actions on Rousey’s WWE return in early 2022, she demanded an explanation from her.

She said, “I came back and, and she tried to throw me out of the Royal Rumble [match] twice. It’s not like we were the last two people in there, you know know what I mean.”

Her words clearly reflect the disappointment and shock she got because of her friend’s betrayal. Now, she doesn’t even know if Natalya was really her friend or not. 

Further, she continued, “This is like I don’t see you for years and this is what I get? Throwing me out of the Rumble? I don’t know where that came from but I still have not gotten an explanation for it.”

The rivalry of old friends

The Baddest Women on Earth made her return after over 3 years. On her arrival, she got a shocking betrayal from her friend. Since then, both of them developed a rivalry. The feud between the two has gotten a lot of attention from the viewers.

The friendship seems to end as Rousey took her revenge by winning the RAW Women’s Championship against Bliss. However, the story of their friendship starts from the time when The Queen of Hearts trained with Ronda. It started before Rowdy was signed up with WWE.
