“She Would Have Killed Him”- AJ Styles on Sonya Deville’s Confrontation with the Kidnapper

AJ Styles recently spoke about the horrific Sonya Deville incident. This unfortunate incident has got everyone speaking from the WWE stars to the WWE universe.

Styles, as we all know, is an avid gamer and loves to be on his video games whenever he has his time off. The Phenomenal One also streams live through his Twitch where he engages and answers fan questions.

One topic of discussion which would obviously come up was about his fellow SmackDown colleague Sonya Deville. Styles would question the intellect of the man who would make such a crazy decision. Here is what AJ Styles had to say.

“I’m amazed that like what was this guy thinking? Not only would not be able to do anything to her, he would have looked like the biggest, not that he doesn’t look now but even worse his face would have been like hamburger meat. She would have beat him up and choke him up, he’d wake up and choke him out again. What an idiot, there are some crazy people out there guys.”

AJ Styles feels the kidnapper is lucky instead of Sonya Deville

The Phenomenal One also spoke of God’s protection on Deville. However, it wasn’t about God protecting Sonya from the Kidnapper but it was God protecting the kidnapper from getting the beating of his life.

Here is what Styles had to say.

“I think Sonya not being there was like God protecting…that’s what I think. And when I mean protecting…She would have killed him. She would have hurt this guy.”

We never heard anything from Deville’s real-life best friend Mandy Rose since the event. It is quite understandable as they are in an on-screen rivalry and showing concern in real life could hamper their storyline.

Sonya Deville is a strong and fierce athlete. Her in-ring skill and strength are what won her a WWE contract even though she didn’t win the reality show Tough Enough.

WWE Superstars are athletes who train physically. Their years and years of training make them iron-strong and getting on their wrong side would not end up well.
