Sheamus raised the bar

With the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship being the usual centers of attention, fans often tend to forget the prestige of the US Championship. Strikingly, unlike all these championships, the United States title had first arrived in WCW.

In the past, famous wrestlers and Hall of Famers alike fought over this distinguished title. Now, with its value seemingly diminishing, WWE has finally captured the fans’ interest for the title again. With Sheamus at the helm, we are seeing something special.

If the fan-favorite wrestler isn’t competing for the title, then it is bound to lose its prior value. The ‘Celtic Warrior’ has done an incredible job in pulling the fans’ interest back to the title.
