No one can deny the fact that Ronda Rousey was one hell of a fighter during her days in the UFC. She was widely considered unbeatable in a fight when a renowned boxing player gave out a demeaning statement about Rousey.
Muhammad Ali’s daughter has never been a great fan of Rowdy. Both the world of boxing and wrestling have known the fierce relationship that the two athletes share.
Adding to this, Laila Ali once clearly stated that The UFC women’s bantamweight champ can never beat her. She even compared the wrestler with someone else.

Trash talks are quite common in sports, especially when one is engaged in such a furious game. But a derogatory comment like this can ignite anger in anyone. Something similar happened after Laila’s comment on the former UFC icon.
Laila Ali’s harsh comment on Ronda Rousey
The conversation between TMZ Sports and the former boxing player dates back to 2015. It was the time when Rowdy’s undefeatable reign was the talk of the town.
During those days, when Ali was asked if she could beat Rousey in a fight, she gave an answer criticizing the invincible. She said, “She’s too much smaller than me anyways. She’s like the size of my daughter. My three-year-old.”

Her statement is a clear remark on the former UFC fighter’s physique and that the retired female boxer doesn’t see her worthy enough for a fight.
An athlete must be confident in herself, but a conviction like Ali’s is beyond imagination. As she also stated, “No woman in the world can beat me. Period.”
Rowdy replied in her own style
The SmackDown Women’s Champion is no less than the former women’s boxing world champion. After getting to hear such harsh comments about herself, she responded.
While speaking with The Daily Beast, she said, “She’s retired and has several kids. I understand why she’d think that because she has a size advantage, but if you saw my last fight it had nothing to do with size or strength at all. That’s not how I beat people.”
