The women’s Royal Rumble match will have its sixth edition this year. The event marks the shock returns of many of the fan favorites. However, the fans are already buzzing about who could win the yearly match this time. Many hats have been thrown in the mix as to who could end up on the top. While Rhea Ripley is a strong favorite, Becky Lynch’s chances of clinching the clash have gotten a major boost.
Excitement for the Rumble is always quite high among fans. With the year that The Judgement Day member Ripley has had, it will be hard to look past her. But The Man has made a career out of proving doubters wrong. And Las Vegas odds makers are slightly tilting her way. Lynch returned to The Survivor Series Wargames after a brief sabbatical from wrestling.

Becky Lynch has the pedigree
The six-times women’s champion has already won the 2019 Royal Rumble match. Her battles with Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair last year were appreciated all around. Although she was on the receiving end on all the occasions, her performances were as always sublime. Who’s to say she cannot win the eagerly anticipated contest this time around as well?

The famous performer recently revealed that 2022 was the best year of her career. It won’t be a surprise if this year also belongs to Lynch again. Ripley has also had a memorable past year. Aligning herself to the notorious Finn Balor, Damien Priest and opinion-dividing Dominik Mysterio has been a great move. She has been the favorite to win this year’s match for quite some time now.
Fans react to Lynch’s chances
Fans had mixed feelings about Lynch moving ahead of Ripley in the race. While some were appreciative of the fact, some did not fancy her winning again. Former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was also added to the discussion somehow. McMahon recently returned to the promotions board of directors. However, his gaining creative control of the company is still in doubt.

Anyone of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch might end up the eventual winners of the contest. As long as the match is of top quality, it would not matter a lot as to who picks up the W. The match is surely capturing the imagination of wrestling purists. Lynch might have moved ahead of Ripley according to the oddsmakers. It will definitely be a hard call on who ends at the top.
