Bayley has earned the right to be considered one of the finest female wrestlers in the world. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has amassed quite a resume since her WWE debut. In an episode of Table Talk with Mo Lightening, the former Champion revealed her dream opponent.
“Lita has always been a dream opponent just because she’s somebody I never been in the ring with.”
The Hall of Famer is often considered one of the greatest women’s wrestlers alongside Trish Stratus.
Lita and Bayley shared the ring just once. The night after Evolution, Trish Stratus and Lita teamed up with Sasha Banks and Bayley to take on Mickie James, Alicia Fox and the Riott Squad.
“We’ve been in a 10-woman tag match before, and this was the night after Evolution. That was so insane. She did the moonsault. I did the elbow off the top and we did Twist of Fates.”
Bayley explained the reason why she chose Lita as her dream opponent.
“It was so crazy, but I want a match against her because she’s the one who helped me realize my dreams.” (H/T WrestlingInc)
The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been the MVP of the women’s division in 2020. She held the SmackDown Women’s title for more than a year, beating the entire SmackDown women’s division. She even went to Raw along with Sasha Banks and dominated the red brand.
After the Golden Role Models held every single title in the women’s division, Bayley’s year took a strange turn. Banks lost her Raw Women’s Title, and the duo lost their Tag Team Championships at Payback.
After that, Bayley turned on Sasha and kickstarted their amazing feud which culminated at Hell in a Cell. Their match at Hell in a Cell is a genuine Match of the Year contender. After she lost the title, Bayley moved on to another juicy rivalry.
The former Hugger is now embroiled in a rivalry with Bianca Belair. The EST of WWE made her SmackDown debut before Survivor Series. She put in an impressive performance at the PPV, while Bayley was the first one in the match to get eliminated.
