SHOCKING: MJF Sides With Roman Reigns After AEW Rampage and WWE SmackDown Clash

Maxwell Jacob Friedman, also known as MJF, is one of the hottest heels in pro wrestling today. The ‘Salt of the Earth’ is always in his character, and is never shy of expressing his honest feelings.
While AEW is at a full fledged war with WWE, MJF seems unfazed about it. Why? Because he recently spoke about the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, and had nothing but good things to say.
During his appearance on Rasslin’ with Brandon Walker, MJF praised the WWE Universal Champion. But he also mentioned Roman Reigns losing in the key demographic to Ruby Soho as WWE SmackDown went head-to-head with AEW Rampage during the last 30 minutes of Supersized SmackDown last week.

He said,“Roman Reigns lost in the key demographic to Ruby Soho, and Ruby Soho s*cks, so I don’t know what to tell you. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not me shitting on Roman Reigns. I think Roman Reigns is a hell of a performer, he really is. I think he’s absolutely incredible.” (h/t: Fightful)
“Am I better than him on the mic and in the ring? Sure, but I’m not gonna go out of my way and talk shit about him because I respect him,” MJF added.
MJF further claimed that he is sure if Roman Reigns learns about this, he will pretend to not know who MJF is. But there ia catch, the leader of The Pinnacle feels that Reigns and other superstars are keeping an eye on what AEW does. He concluded revealing that he would like to work with Roman Reigns one day.
It will be interesting to see how Tony Khan reacts to this. Roma Reigns has recently been vocal about AEW. He even claimed that he does not consider AEW as competition.

Will MJF join WWE for a dream match with Roman Reigns?
MJF is currently signed to AEW. The cocky AEW Superstar feels he will be there for a long time. However, he also hinted at a potential exit if his demands are not met.

From the same appearance on Rasslin’, he revealed that if Tony Khan does not offer the right amount of money when his contract expires, he might leave and go somewhere else. For those unaware, MJF’s contract expires in 2024.

He hinted of going to WWE, IMPACT and even ROH, as he feels he is the hottest commodity in professional wrestling. MJF said, “I can go wherever I want because I’m the hottest commodity in professional wrestling.”

It will be interesting to see if MJF makes the move from AEW to WWE in the future. That will surely add more spice to this rivalry between WWE and AEW. Till now, we have seen many superstars switching from WWE to AEW. But will MJF do the opposite when his contract expires in 2024?
