The Tag Team division in WWE is not too deep, but the current two tag teams feuding for the Raw Tag Team Championship are two of the best tag teams you can find on this planet in any promotion. The New Day and The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin) clashed in another thrilling tag team match at WWE TLC.

These two teams put on a stellar performance a few weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, and today was no different. All four men brought their best game to the table. They did an excellent job adding intrigue to the finish, as no one expected Alexander and Benjamin to walk out as Champions.

The action in the match was just on a different level altogether. Both teams came in with high expectations, and it’s safe to say that they delivered. Shelton Benjamin and Kofi Kingston still move like they were in their 20s inside the ring.

In the last moments of the match, The Hurt Business executed a sequence of moves on Xavier Woods, sending him outside the ring. This left Kofi Kingston to fend for himself, and the former WWE Champion surely did.

Kofi fought back and went to the top rope, but Shelton Benjamin literally sprinted on top and executed a picture-perfect belly to belly suplex off the top rope! He set up for the PayDirt, but Cedric Alexander tagged himself in and hit a Brainbuster to win the Raw Tag Team Championships.

Sometimes it seemed like Cedric’s high thinking and selfishness would cost them the shot, but it didn’t! Yes, he surely unexpectedly and unnecessarily tagged in when Benjamin had the match almost won. Ultimately, The Hurt Business prevailed and walked out as the new WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

This feud is far from over. Expect to see The New Day and The Hurt Business to cross paths again.
