In order to warm up the road to the second round of the Queen of the Ring, Tiffany Stratton made a series of posts poking fun at Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. However, one of her status updates gained notoriety for an insult that was labeled racist. This led the WWE universe to question the fate of ‘Tiffy’. The short video uploaded by Stratton showed the former NXT Champion punching Jade Cargill in a tag team match held a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown. The audio of that material was replaced by a female voice screaming “bl**k b*tch.” A large number of users on social networks criticized the post for possible racial behavior.

Despite Tiffany Stratton deleting the video from her official accounts, WWE made the decision to withdraw her participation from the upcoming Friday Night SmackDown. While many wondered if she would be fired from the company. However, Dave Meltzer has provided fans with an update on Twitter as he wrote, “Basically if this was someone who wasn’t a star they’d be fired instantly. Lots of fans sent the video on X to Paul Levesque so it was a pretty significant situation.”

PWInsider also reported on the situation and revealed that despite all the controversy generated, WWE would not be upset with Tiffany Stratton nor is it expected that she will receive a reprimand or that her status will be harmed. As they understand that this was a mistake and that there was no racist intention behind the publication.
