WrestleMania Backlash is just a day away, and we can’t wait for it begin! Why? Well, the card is stacked from top to bottom, but what draws our attention the most is the Universal Championship match. Both Cesaro and Roman Reigns will put their best foot forward as they battle for the top prize in WWE. But who will win? We take a guess.

Will Cesaro become the new Universal Champion at WrestleMania Backlash?

The ‘Swiss Cyborg’ has been on a roll in 2021. He’s got some big wins under his belt this year, which includes a WrestleMania win over former Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Not just that, but Cesaro has also defeated another former World Champion, Daniel Bryan, clean as a whistle.

However, Roman Reigns is no ordinary challenge. The ‘Head of the Table‘ has been unstoppable since his return at SummerSlam 2020.

Reigns won the Universal Championship at Payback and has successfully defended it against the likes of Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Edge, and even his cousin, ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso.

A major reason for Roman Reigns’ victories has been the extra pair of hands on the outside in the form of Jey Uso. The ‘Right Hand Man’ has made his presence felt in almost every title defense of Roman Reigns. This time won’t be any different. If Cesaro has plans to keep Uso out, then he might have a fair chance at the champion.

Numbing Roman Reigns’ extra pair of hands

The ‘King of Swing’ sent a loud and clear message to the ‘Head of the Table’ ahead of their match on Sunday. Cesaro hit two Neutralizers on Jey Uso, as Roman did nothing but watched like a spectator.

We’re sure those two neutralizers won’t keep Jey away from the action, and he will, in some way, make an interference.

There is no doubt Cesaro has been in the most terrific momentum since his debut, but there is no way he walks out with the title. Yes, a World Title has been long overdue for the ‘Swiss Superman,’ but we don’t believe it will come at the expense of the ‘Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns.

Either way, we’re sure to have an epic, hard-hitting contest between two of WWE’s toughest and strongest men. Who are you rooting for? Can Cesaro defy the odds and become Universal Champion? Let us know in the comments below!
