Kevin Owens is often called as the ‘Prizefighter’ as he never backs down from a fight. Despite not being a 100%, Owens set out to teach his former best friend Sami Zayn a lesson. However, ‘The Great Liberator’ defied the odds and picked up a huge victory over Owens.

No one really saw Sami Zayn’s victory coming, so it was a nice surprise for everyone. Many believed the Owens-Zayn saga would continue for another PPV, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

It all seemed done and dusted as KO rerouted his focus on winning the Intercontinental Championship. It is during this championship pursuit that he rekindled his rivalry with Sami leading to the Hell in a Cell match, which as we know, Sami won.

All in all, Owens has taken no days off since over one and half year now. He is one of WWE’s top stars and can do absolutely anything he is pitched. So this little break is a well-deserved one. We hope he comes back more focused than ever in quest of championship gold!
