The mystery woman of SmackDown was finally revealed today after a month of a teaser video. In the latest episode of the show, WWE revealed that the mystery woman was Carmella, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Fans had already figured out that Carmella was the mystery woman the moment the first video dropped. The physique and of course, the tattoo, gave it away. While many expected a surprise, turns out it was just another obvious unveiling.

Sadly, Carmella has been receiving a lot of hate on social media over her looks. Fans have been very malicious and have been trashing her throughout the day for being the mystery woman and trolling her about how she looked.

In a recent post on Twitter, the former Champion herself tweeted her disgust about this. She maintained that she will pay no attention to these tweets.

Carmella’s return can only mean one thing. After a long period of absence, she may want to go after the title once more. Seemingly much more focused and driven, we can expect a new and improved Superstar in the ring.

Carmella could be drafted to Raw soon

The big question is- does she stand a chance in between the Bayley-Sasha Banks feud? The two former ‘best friends’ are in a bitter rivalry that will most likely go on to WrestleMania.

What seems more viable is that Carmella gets drafted to Raw. The red brand is falling desperately short of good female Superstars. Carmella could make more than just ripples on the Raw roster.

With her attitude and in-ring prowess, she could be molded into the next Maryse. We may see a dominant Women’s Champion sooner than we think.

For now, Carmella will only have to deal with the numerous hate messages that flow in from salty fans. Given that the person we’re talking about is Carmella, it shouldn’t be much of a problem.
