Shocking Ending to Triple Brand Battle Royal Reveals the Opponent of Bayley for Summerslam

Last week, on the 8th August edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Stephanie McMahon made a huge announcement for SummerSlam. An inter-brand Battle Royal would take place to determine Bayley’s next No.1 contender for the SmackDown women’s championship.

While the Battle Royal participants from Raw were The Iconics, Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler and The Riott Squad, the Blue Brand would be represented by Nikki Cross, Tamina, Dana Brooke, and Naomi.

That’s not all. Even NXT Superstars like Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart were a part of the mix.

However, there was one final participant in the Battle Royal who blew the minds off the Golden Role Models. Asuka, who is also the number one contender for The Raw Women’s Championship, joined the fray.

Bayley and Sasha Banks would definitely want Asuka to be the last woman on this planet to win the match. In a hilarious turn of events, The Golden Role Models themselves helped the Empress of Tomorrow.

A small assist from the Raw and SmackDown Women’s champions would help Asuka secure the win in the inter-brand battle royal.

Asuka can potentially be a double champion at SummerSlam if she beats Bayley

WWE confirmed the match for SummerSlam 2020 on August 23rd. The Empress of Tomorrow now has a chance to conquer all the singles gold on the main roster.

At WWE SummerSlam, the Empress of Tomorrow will have to face two competitors.

Banks and Bayley are brilliant performers and the best WWE has to offer.Facing either of them in a match is an uphill task. However, facing both of them on the same night is the next level of difficulty.

With the recent past as witness, The Golden Role Models will definitely have some tricks up their sleeve. With Sasha Banks, the intention is clear for Asuka; she wants to regain her title.

However, with Bayley, things are personal. Bayley has the blood of Kairi Sane on her hands.

These two matches for Asuka are not just about becoming a double champion but they are also a shot at revenge for her friend.
