Seeing your loved one in pain while being unable to do anything is a disheartening feeling. A person needs a backup, a support system to hold them upright in that situation. But when you are a well-beloved cult classic wrestler, there’s no need to worry as you have the support of millions of fans that look up to you.

After putting his body through every imaginable weapon in wrestling, Tommy Dreamer went to Twitter to get some love from his fans. The former ECW champion who announced his break from wrestling approached the wrestling community for some support, and the community gave back in loads.

The wrestling community gathers around to support WWE legend through tough times

A few days ago, Dreamer posted on his Twitter that his mother was taken to the ICU while she was en route to the house after rehabilitation. The legend urged everyone to pray for her well-being and send some positive vibes. And the wrestling world didn’t disappoint. His mother’s health might have played a part in the legendary wrestler deciding to take a break.

After his chaotic hardcore war match at Impact! Wrestling Rebellion, Dreamer announced that he would be taking some time off from wrestling. Additionally,  he thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity to wrestle this long. But this segment felt like Dreamer was finally saying his goodbyes to the wrestling world.

But this is not the only time that the community sent their prayers to a legend’s mother. Even when Dustin Rhodes or Goldust’s mother was in terrible condition, the community came to back their favorite wrestlers.
