Mothers hold a special place in all our hearts. And WWE legend Lex Luger is no exception in this case. However, Luger recently lost his mother.

The former Royal Rumble winner recently took to Twitter to announce the passing away of his beloved mother. Lex Luger posted a heartfelt picture of him and his mother on his Twitter post.

In the caption, Luger noted, “My dear sweet precious mom entered into heaven early this morning. Please join me in celebrating a remarkable life well lived.”

Soon after this post, many individuals from this pro wrestling business took to social media to react to this heartbreaking news. Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, John Layfield (also known as JBL), Johnny Swinger, and Arn Anderson are among some of these wrestling personas.

Looking at Luger’s emotional post, you can understand well about how much Lex Luger loves his mother. And it is a tremendous loss for the WWE legend.

Lex Luger is a popular name in the professional wrestling business

Lex Luger is no stranger to the pro wrestling fans. Luger is one of the most prominent wrestlers who have appeared in both WCW and WWE. During his WCW career, Luger had some major achievements in his name. He won several championships in WCW, including the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Not to forget, Luger is the second WCW Triple Crown Champion. And just like Sting and others, he was also a part of a major feud with the nWo following nWo’s formation in WCW.

Though Luger has not won championships in WWE, he competed against some of the biggest WWE stars. And in 1994, he also won the Royal Rumble along with Bret Hart.

Later on, in the 2000s, Luger also made some impactful appearances in Impact Wrestling. And in 2011, Lex Luger started working with WWE on their Wellness Policy. Thus, he is indeed a very experienced star in this professional wrestling business.
