Almost all pro-wrestlers, WWE or not, are indebted to McMahon in some way or the other, which is why fans will be shocked to hear what an AEW legend had to say about The Mac and his company.

Jon Moxley, who recently decimated CM Punk to become the undisputed AEW World Champion, did not hold back on his criticism of McMahon and his business style. At the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Moxley went all out and completely shocked his audience with his scathing words.
What did Moxley say about Vince McMahon and the WWE?
‘The Purveyor of Violence’ talked to the audience during a promo where he addressed his greatest wins in the ring, including his three-minute match with CM Punk earlier in the night on AEW Dynamite. Moxley was accompanied by Bryan Danielson, who he referred to as one of the best wrestlers in the world, before assuring his fans that the AEW locker room would be “busting their a**es” to put on the most professional wrestling show on the planet.
The Death Rider implored his fans to watch AEW programming on Wednesday nights instead of watching “that Monday and Friday night c**p,” referring to WWE’s flagship shows RAW and SmackDown.

Moxley did not back down after this and started talking smack about McMahon himself. McMahon, who can confidently claim to be the backbone of the WWE, recently retired from his position as CEO and Chairman of the company following some allegations against him. Although the future of the company is in the safe and capable hands of Triple-H who succeeded McMahon as the Head of Creative, fans and wrestlers still yearn for the sharp business acumen of McMahon.

With McMahon out of the picture, one positive for pro-wrestling fans is that other labels like the AEW will gain popularity, resulting in better competition and better storylines all around. While Moxley may mock the WWE and its mastermind, no one can deny the impact that McMahon had on the pro-wrestling industry.
