WWE fans have kicked off 2021 by seeing Goldberg challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. There’s no doubt it was nice seeing legends back for Raw Legends Night, but no one saw that coming. What fans also didn’t see coming was the way Charlotte Flair insulted her father, Ric Flair, on the show.

Charlotte Flair accepts father Ric Flair’s apology

Charlotte blasted her father with some stinging words after he cost her a tag team match at Raw Legends Night. For a moment we even thought that the ‘Queen‘ would slap him. Thankfully, she just settled at asking him to get out.

After what transpired on Raw, it looked like Charlotte was legitimately angry at her old man. We know what she’s said and done to her father in the past, and the interaction this time too gave us the same idea. Luckily, that wasn’t the case as everything ended well after Charlotte accepted his apology. It’s her dad, after all!

What did Ric Flair do?

‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair had accompanied Charlotte Flair to ringside for her tag team match with Asuka against Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans. Throughout the match, Evans made advances towards Ric Flair, leaving Charlotte unimpressed.

Lacey Evans, who was on the ring apron, got close to the ‘Nature Boy.’ She pulled him by the tie for a kiss, but Charlotte cut it off with a baseball slide to Lacey. She then turned her attention to Royce in the ring.

Peyton Royce reversed Charlotte’s attempt at an Irish whip, sending her towards the rope. Ric Flair didn’t catch the quick reversal and accidentally tripped his daughter, allowing Royce and Evans to pick a win over the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. We all know what happened after that.

The father-daughter duo has surely settled their differences. And looking at the way things went this Monday Night, Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce could very well be next in line along with The Riott Squad to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
