Stephanie McMahon Reacts to John Cena and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Going Head to Head at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards

The Hollywood Megastars John Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson have been nominated for the Kids Choice Awards 2022. The Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards is right around the corner. And again, we can see a few familiar faces of the WWE Universe nominated for the event. 

Furthermore, amongst the list of big-name nominees are two WWE SmackDown Superstars. On Thursday, WWE’s official website released an article encouraging fans to vote for Sasha Banks and Xavier Woods for the awards show.

The Champ John Cena has appeared at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2017 and 2018. Subsequently, Cena hosted and got slimed both years. 

John Cena and The Rock will compete for the Favorite Movie Actor award!

We know the show for massive awards and ridiculous amounts of green slime showcase. However, for this year’s KCA, former rivals and World Champions John Cena and The Rock will compete for the Favorite Movie Actor award. 

Notably, John Cena is nominated for ‘Fast and Furious 9: The Fast Saga’ for the favorite actor. While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is set for Jungle Cruise and Red Notice. Fans will have a hard time choosing their favorite actors among the two WWE Superstars.

In addition, other nominees in the same category include Ryan Reynolds for Free Guy, LeBron James for Space Jam: A New Legacy, Tom Holland for Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Vin Diesel for F9.

Well, The Rock’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ is also up for Favorite Movie and Cena’s ‘Wipeout’ show is up for the Favorite Reality Show Award.

The Boss and King Woods are also nominees with huge names in sports industry

WWE SmackDown Superstars The Boss and King Woods find themselves in the mix of Favorite Female Sports Star and Favorite Male Creator categories. They have nominated Banks alongside Naomi Osaka, Simone Biles, Serena Williams, Candace Parker, and Chloe Kim for Favorite Female Sports Star.

Meanwhile, Austin Creeds, aka Xavier Woods, has been nominated for the Favorite Male Creator category alongside Ryan’s World, Ninja, Mr. Beast, Spencer X, and Unspeakable.

The WWE Superstar Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to congratulate The Rock, John Cena, Sasha Banks, and Austin Creeds.

Former WWE 24/7 Champion, Rob Gronkowski, and Miranda Cosgrove will host the Nickelodeon Kids Show. Moreover, the voting for the awards is now open. Fans can vote for their favorite WWE Superstars as many times as they would like. Finally, the show will air live on Nickelodeon at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time on April 9, Saturday.
