When it comes to Lesnar as a pro wrestler, many forget that he does have a background in amateur wrestling. After conquering the WWE, The Beast moved on to the UFC and won the Heavyweight title. In short, he’s not the man you want to shoot wrestle with. This is something The Monster Among Men learned the hard way. Sitting down on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast, he explained what led to the now infamous shoot-punch by Lesnar.

The Monster claimed that the punch didn’t feel good, and in slow-motion, fans could see just how hard the impact was. While speaking on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, Reigns said, “He’s f**king Brock Lesnar, man, he picks you up and throws you on your head – there’s nothing nice about that. It’s very tough to work with a human being like that.” This one line by The Tribal Chief made it clear that taking bumps with Lesnar wasn’t normal. Nevertheless, a rivalry with The Beast Incarnate did propel Reigns’ career to greater heights.

Despite everything, Lesnar has never been among the wrestlers who injured others on multiple occasions. It goes to show just how professional The Beast truly was. What did you think of the punch? Tell us in the comments.
