The pro-wrestling industry is a business where promoters and pro-wrestlers strategize how they can extract more money from segments and matches. WWE superstars like Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, and John Cena have extracted a lot of money for the company over the years.

Sometimes, even if there is an improper relationship between two wrestlers, they have to work together. Wrestlers like Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels and Edge and Matt Hardy are among the few superstars who worked in a segment even though they had personal differences.

Recently on this week’s Grilling Jr Podcast, Good Ol JR shared Stone Cold Steve Austin’s reaction to Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels’s real-life heat. Hart and Michaels gave memorable matches in 1996 and 1997, despite not liking each other back then. Stone Cold wanted Hart and Michaels to sit and resolve their issues, as their feud was money.

Jim Ross in his podcast shared Austin’s opinion on this, “He was frustrated. He was astonished that they couldn’t sit down and work this out. It wasn’t that complicated. They weren’t splitting the atom and creating a new atomic bomb. Come its egos, sensitivities, and a lack of communication”

Ross continued, “I think Steve was of the mindset that, ‘I can’t understand these guys. They don’t realize how much money’s on the table here. Why can’t they just sit down and work this thing out?’”

Austin knew the stakes were high in their feud and the money was great. If they would have resolved their problems, things would have been different. However, Austin got to face both of them and he could draw good money out of the feud.

Is Stone Cold Steve Austin going to wrestle at WrestleMania 38?

Austin said, “In Dallas, Texas, where I started my career, at WrestleMania, Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to open up one last can of whoop a** on you, Kevin Owens. And, that’s the bottom line.”
