Stone Cold seems to be getting back into his Attitude Era self as we get closer to WrestleMania. He tweeted “One Last Can. @FightOwensFight You piece of trash. #WrestleMania” to Kevin Owens as a warning.
Moreover, his groundbreaking announcement regarding his return shook the wrestling world. Stone Cold Steve Austin last wrestled a match at WrestleMania 19 where he went one-on-one with The Great One. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson defeated and effectively retired Austin from in-ring action.
Owens started this feud because he needed a path to WrestleMania. Moreover, he had planted the seeds by voicing his disgust towards Texas, which is Austin’s home state.
Kevin Owens wasted no time as he called out Stone Cold live in the main event of Raw. Stone Cold gave a swift reply to Owens and promised that he will be there at WrestleMania to “open one last can of whoop-a**” on Owens.
While WWE has not made it clear yet what kind of interaction, this will be at WrestleMania, fans are trying to decode Austin’s promo. In the promo, Stone Cold said that he doesn’t care whether it is a match, a brawl, or a straight-up fight, he will beat down Kevin Owens. The angle here is that Stone Cold will defend the pride of his home state, Texas.
