In an extraordinary turn of events, WWE Raw Tag team champions The Street Profits will have to defend their titles against Andrade & Angel Garza at SummerSlam next month.

The reason why this was a surprise was that they managed to clinch the victory over The Viking Raiders as well as Ricochet & Cedric Alexander.

This match was a tag team triple threat to decide the contenders for the tag team titles at SummerSlam.  Andrade and Garza played their cards extremely well.

Knowing that they were the weaker force among the three parties, they held back for most of the match. By holding back, I mean they actually did not join the fight.

They strategically let their opponents wear each other down. They then went in on the kill. Ivar of The Viking Raiders attempted to bring down both Ricochet and Cedric Alexander at once. He succeeded, but also managed to bring his own partner down with him.

Angel Garza and Andrade weren’t done with The Street Profits

Angel Garza then went on to deliver a devastating Wing Clipper to Alexander, finishing the match off. This victory meant a lot for the duo. However, they weren’t done yet.

As The Street Profits watched from the commentary section, Andrade and Garza attacked them to make a statement. There is no doubt that they will be dangerous competitors.

This renewed work ethic will go a long way for the tag team that looks to win the biggest accomplishment they can and capture the belt from The Street Profits. They might just go on and do it at the big stage of SummerSlam. If they keep going like this, the fanbase will also be behind them.
