One of the greatest action heroes of all time, Sylvester Stallone has always been a good friend to many wrestlers in the past.

But working with them through the Rocky movies has elevated the sport of wrestling for the action hero. Due to the popularity of the movies and the fame attached to Stallone, many wrestlers got a popularity boost as well.

But while he might be great with wrestlers, one incident in the past struck Stallone pretty hard. Not only was he scared of his life, but he also thought about quitting it for a moment.

Years later, Stallone revealed his side of the story where one WWE legend’s move sent him to the hospital along with cast members as well. People have said bad stuff about working with him, but it never extended to Hollywood stars as well.

Sylvester Stallone once revealed the wreak that this WWE legend caused on his movie set

In an interview with World Boxing News earlier this year, Stallone talked about working with Hulk Hogan.

He said, “I met Terry Bollea (aka Thunderlips in the movie) in the very early 80s when I was directing Rocky III. At 6 feet 7, 295 pounds, and with 24-inch biceps, he was an amazing athlete and incredibly powerful.

I remember a violent move where he threw me into the corner and charged across the ring like an enraged bull. He leaped so amazingly high above me that his shinbone came down like a giant tree on my collarbone. I tumbled to the floor, but I was afraid to look at my shoulder for about ten minutes. I said, ‘don’t roll me over, don’t move me,’–because I was sure there was bone protruding through my upper chest.

While he may not have excelled at it, Hulk Hogan did make some great connections in the movie industry.

Being the face of WWE for over a decade, everyone projected Hogan to have a great acting career, but directors and writers weren’t able to tap into his charisma like Vince McMahon. So, Hogan had to come back to wrestling, but not before making some of his best friends.
