Now that Triple H has taken over the creative direction of WWE, he is making a lot of changes. One of the biggest ones was the bringing back of old NXT superstars who had been released last year during the pandemic. First, we saw Dakota Kai make her main roster debut at SummerSlam. Then, we had Dexter Lumis running around everywhere in Raw while the police chase him.

But the biggest one of them all has to be the return of Johnny Gargano. With more than 200 superstars released in the past two years, there are many who are sitting by the sidelines. And Triple H thinks it’s time to get them back. But what does he think of the releases in the first place?

Triple H responds to Vince McMahon releasing NXT Superstars

In the most exciting interview in the wrestling world right now, Ariel Helwani asked Triple H some of the most burning popular questions. From his intense surgery last year to his relations with Brock Lesnar. But one question that everyone had on their mind was, ‘what did Triple H feel about Vince McMahon letting NXT guys go during COVID?’

Triple H replied, “Funny, the whole roster’s in some way if you’re going to look at it that way. Almost 95% of our roster came out of NXT. Yeah, there were a lot of people I thought, ‘that’s really talented’. When it came to Raw and SmackDown, it wasn’t up to me if I thought they were talented. It was up to the Raw and SmackDown writing team and Vince.

He went on, “If they thought they were talented, they wanted to use them for something. And if they didn’t, then that was the answer, right? Vince’s company, Vince’s show, Vince’s prerogative… Now it’s my time to say, no no, I think this person is talented and I want them here doing this and to go down that list.”

“So for me, talent is talent. Doesn’t matter, man, doesn’t matter, woman, doesn’t matter where they came from, doesn’t matter what path they took to get to this business,” The Game added.
