WWE Undisputed Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament: Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar

Winner: LA Knight

As Rhodes mentioned during his promo, he will be facing someone for the WWE Universal Championship at Backlash. This tournament started with Lashley and Knight facing off while Escobar kept his distance. With the no-disqualification stipulation in place, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo came out to help Escobar. While they beatdown Knight, The Street Profits came out. While the teams were busy with each other, Knight gained the opportunity to hit BFT for the pinfall victory.

Bouncing off the ropes in typical fashion, Breakker caught Grimes with a massive Lariat and hoisted him for a power slam. This got Breakker the pinfall victory.

In-ring segment: Bayley came out to the ring to address the fans after her title win at WrestleMania XL. While the fans chanted, “You deserve it,” Bayley took a moment to take it in. However, before she could talk about what she wanted to, Tiffany Stratton came out and interrupted. Claiming that she deserves the chance at the title, Bayley busts her bubble by saying that she was giving the chance to Naomi. Getting angry, Stratton insulted the Glow queen, who then came out.

Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton
