Roman Reigns has become one of the greatest wrestlers in history, accumulating more than 1300 days with the Universal Championship before finally losing it at WrestleMania 40. However, before starting his historic reign, Roman Reigns was at a creative all-time low. A rivalry with Baron Corbin provided segments that wouldn’t even entertain a five-year-old. But it was this segment that brought a change.

In fact, one segment involving Corbin might’ve been a catalyst. An esteemed wrestling fan who is also Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson recently thanked King Corbin for it.

Back in 2019-20, Baron Corbin and the then Big Dog entered into a weird rivalry. In this feud, both Reigns and Corbin threw dog food at each other, which was highly criticized by fans. Another highlight was when the NXT star mocked Reigns’ then ‘Big Dog’ entrance by playing puppy sounds over it and having a man with a dog costume also making his entrance to the theme. O’Shea Jackson recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the video and thanked Corbin for motivating Reigns to bring a change for good. He wrote, “Thank you @BaronCorbinWWE. Change couldn’t have happened without the last straw. Without the match to light to the fire. You helped bring all of this that we have enjoyed in the Last few years with that damn dog food. If no one else will say it. I will. Thank you Baron Corbin”

Paul Heyman once revealed that the Tribal Chief was frustrated with WWE’s creative team at the beginning of 2020. Reigns’ manager specifically earmarked his rivalry with Baron Corbin between 2019 and 2020 as the tip of the iceberg. But what about now? What if the two have a feud again? Many sure believe Corbin can face the Tribal Chief the way he has evolved for the greater good in the present. And one of the many believers is the NXT star himself.

The match in question was against Gable Stevenson at the NXT Great American Bash. The NXT star noted that seeing fans cheering him on was strange.
