“Thank You Triple H for Hiring Me” – Lana Sends an Emotional Message for Her Fellow WWE Superstars

Recently released WWE Superstar Lana released a statement of gratitude on social media. She took her time to pen down appreciative words for several Superstars on the women’s roster and to some notable WWE officials.

First, she started by thanking Triple H for hiring her.

Following that, she thanked Natalya and TJ Wilson for helping her learn the process and believing in her. Furthermore, she thanked Nia Jax for being the heel the show needed and referred to Jax putting her through the announcers’ table nine times.

Lana thanked Asuka for being her tag team partner, Trinity Fatu for being there for her, and Paul Heyman for the opportunities and the lessons.

She mentioned the several storylines WWE booked her in as a part of her eight-year journey. Her primary point was that the character Lana immensely appreciates the people around her. In fact, she even mentioned Miro (Rusev) and the chemistry they shared on-screen along with the infamous wedding storyline.

The controversial storyline between Lana and Rusev

Lana (CJ Perry) and Miro (Rusev) are married in real life. However, they were playing a couple on-screen as well. WWE booked them in a romantic angle, but involved Bobby Lashley in it.

The storyline progressed with Lana leaving Rusev to be with Lashley. In fact, there was a kiss and a wedding involved. WWE showed Lashley and her getting married after she divorced Rusev. Unfortunately, this storyline just faded with no conclusive ending.

Miro Reveals the Frustrating Ending of the Bobby Lashley and Lana Storyline

Miro had later opened up about it, and said the company should have booked it better and ensured it ends with a proper conclusion instead of just letting it fade away.

What’s next for CJ Perry?

She recently got released, which means she will need to serve the 90-day non-compete clause. After that, she is free to choose any promotion of her choice.

Considering Miro is working with AEW, she could potentially consider joining AEW too. As of now, she hasn’t made any comments about joining a new company or if she wants to take a break from the wrestling industry for a bit.

As Lana she had contributed significantly to the women’s division in the wrestling industry. Undoubtedly, she’ll be making similar impacts when and if she joins a new company with a new name.
