On Talking Smack, Paul Heyman revealed that as per him, Cesaro would be a fantastic opponent for Roman Reigns. The Swiss Superman finds himself at the end of another push, which might culminate at WrestleMania. Heyman believes Cesaro might be the perfect challenger for the champion.

“He’s uber-talented, and he’s on a path right now to the top, and there’s only one man right now who has any hope of stopping him, and that’s Roman Reigns, which is why that match, that match could be the headline of WrestleMania this year.”

Cesaro has been on the rise on SmackDown once again. He and his tag team partner Shinsuke Nakamura have been racking up wins, with the latter also being touted as a potential WrestleMania opponent for Reigns.

Cesaro has picked up two big wins against Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler, while Nakamura put down Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan in the gauntlet match to determine the Number One Contender. He even beat Jey Uso on the following episode of SmackDown.

Adam Pearce pulled the wool over the eyes of the Tribal Chief extremely well, and he will now face Kevin Owens in a Last Man Standing match. This will be the third match in the Owens vs Reigns rivalry, which has been nothing short of stellar.

“When Roman Reigns puts down Kevin Owens next week and if Cesaro, who has a very good chance of winning the Royal Rumble, does just that.”

Heyman really seems to be pushing Cesaro to be Reigns’ opponent for WrestleMania.

Along with Cesaro, Nakamura and Daniel Bryan are also potential WrestleMania opponents for Roman Reigns. Prior to winning the IC Championship, even Big E was a favorite to challenge Roman at WrestleMania. However, no match would be as hard-hitting and exciting as Cesaro vs Reigns. Book it, Vince!
