Charlotte Flair, the current WWE SmackDown Women’s champion is known among fans for her amazing in-ring skills. She has captured the women’s championship 14 times. And, currently, she is one of the most successful female superstars of all time.

Charlotte was genetically gifted when it came to wrestling skills. But soon enough, she realized that this was not enough to reach the peak. Luckily, she learned a crucial skill, seeing the promos of her father and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair that helped her to reach the top.

Charlotte Flair talked about the important skill that she has learned from her father

Recently, Charlotte Flair appeared on the ‘Le Batard Show’. There, she talked about her match at WrestleMania 39 against Rhea Ripley, along with her experience being the daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair During the show, a moment came when the host asked the SmackDown Women’s champion how the old promos of her father helped her in improving in terms of a show-woman. 

To this, Charlotte replied that she doesn’t compare herself with Ric Flair when it comes to mic skills. But it definitely motivates her as several fans used to get hooked on their seats during senior Flair’s promos.

While talking to the host, Charlotte Flair said, “Uh, well I try not to compare what I do on the mic to him because you can’t but I think that’s something that motivates me to be better because that’s what so many people tuned in to  see with my dad it’s like his trash talking”

Charlotte further mentioned that her father’s old promos helped her to learn how could she deliver the promos in her own way. She even revealed that to make a mark in the professional wrestling industry, a wrestler has to be good with the mic as well.

She said, “So how do I trash talk but in a way that is special to Charlotte’s character, whether that’s…….you know……. just being the most arrogant person on the planet ……it’s different but knowing that…..That’s how my dad kept so many people captivated for so many years that I knew I was gonna need….um….to be good at that to make a mark in this industry, to be remembered as one of the greats, just not men or women”

How vague promos troubled The Queen

Charlotte Flair started her WWE career in 2012. During her initial run in WWE, fans showered love. She entered the main roster in 2015 and the same year she captured the Diva’s championship. However, soon the ‘cheers’ turned into ‘boos’ as fans didn’t like her instant push and they even called out her promos as boring.
