With the release of Fast X, hopes of seeing a profitable figure seem to diminish away for the third film in the franchise. The latest part of the film has received immensely positive responses and reviews from critics and fans alike. With the sub-plot being based around animal abuse, fans have loved every aspect of it.

However, now Batista’s arch-rival in WWE, John Cena has arrived in theaters with his Fast X, to make Guardians suffer more. With still a colossal figure away from becoming profitable, fans expressed their disappointment as they compared the film with Fast X.

Fans react in disappointment as Batista’s Guardians of the Galaxy fails to secure a profitable status weeks after its release

After Avengers: Endgame, MCU has failed to deliver its fans with a promising film. However, with Wakanda Forever, and GOTG Vol.3 fans received two of the best movies in the universe in a long time. Despite such a brilliant cinematic experience, James Gunn’s Guardians are yet to earn a profit despite earning a staggering $659 million.

As soon as the news came out, fans started reacting in disappointment.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hit theaters on May 3rd, and has secured a total collection of $659 million worldwide. However, the income curve of the film has seen a fall in the past few weeks. And if this trend follows, the film might not cross its budget of approx $800 million.

Although Fast X released this past weekend, the film has also failed to live up to expectations with a weak opening weekend. Earning only $67.5 million on the first weekend, the film is far behind the other Fast & Furious films. Only ranking ahead of Hobbs & Shaw, Fast X has a lot of ground to cover to make it up to its predecessors.

The film has received a good response from fans due to its action sequences and acting. However, it also received criticism for its dialogue and plot.
