Comebacks in pro-wrestling are a wholesome experience for both the wrestler involved and the audience witnessing it. One such moment happened between John Cena and the WWE Universe at the Money in the Bank PPV at the Dickies Arena earlier this month.

Ever since Cena made his triumphant return at MITB, the fans have been wondering if he is back for good? Is he going to stick around? The answer to these questions lies with Mr. Cena and he has been successful in keeping it under wraps.

Cena then appeared the following night on Monday Night Raw. While addressing the crowd he made a statement saying that “this is not a one-night thing.” Upon hearing this, the audience just went crazy.

He later added that he cannot demand a title shot unless the titleholder [Roman Reigns] wants it.

Cena said, “That’s not up to me. That’s up to the WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns. I went on Monday Night Raw and issued a challenge and kinda said like ‘Hey! I’m here for this’, but I can’t just jump in front of the line without the guy who holds the championship saying ‘It’s okay’. So Friday on SmackDown he’s more than likely going to have some explaining to do.”

The WWE Universe knows that Roman and John are going to fight at some point. At first, the fans thought it would happen at the Biggest Party of the Summer. However, now that Finn Balor is in the mix, the feud is getting more interesting.

WWE recently announced that John Cena will attend the SmackDown in Madison Square Garden after the SummerSlam PPV. We’ll just have to wait and see how will that turn out.
