“That’s Stupid”, “Clowns”: Wrestling Community Voice Their Opinion as WWE Is Reportedly Unhappy With Fans’ Unusual Behavior

Pro wrestling fans are some of the loyal and staunch supporters of the sport and the superstars. Similarly, the WWE Universe constitutes the largest amount of followers in sports entertainment. We have seen several fans meeting the WWE superstars in public areas clicking pictures and asking for autographs. But a recent report states WWE might be unhappy with its fans.

In the wake of Liv Morgan and Rey Mysterio’s recent airport interaction with fans, WWE’s management may not be entirely happy with its fanbase. It seems the company is not in the favor of fans asking for autographs on merchandise in public places.

WWE superstars declining autographs are painting a bad picture

Recently, PWInsider Elite shared a report covered by Cultaholic, stating WWE management reportedly was not happy with the fans asking for merchandise to be signed. The company has pointed at superstars signing several WWE memorabilia at airports and other public places.

A few weeks ago Rey Mysterio declined the request to sign memorabilia at the airport while being unmasked. The video of the same went viral on social media and several fans weren’t happy about the same. However, as per the report, the company thinks such videos are putting the superstars into negative publicity.

Furthermore, a video of Liv Morgan signing all the merchandise at the airport also emerged. Such videos are making the Stamford-based company frustrated as this is something that can backfire as well. Many times fans bombard stars with a host of merchandise to sign which could be problematic for the stars as well. Also, there is a possibility of some fans selling off the merchandise for a price after a wrestler has signed it.

Nevertheless, after such scenarios came to light, it is reported WWE is advising its stars to go against these signings. Most of these signings are starting to happen at the airports and “wrestlers have had unsavoury encounters”.

The company may soon have a discussion over it and also release a new set of rules for their superstars.
