In a match where he didn’t need to be pinned to lose the title, Reigns pinning both his opponents to win is a defining statement. The Tribal Chief may never lose his title as long as he’s got Jey Uso on his side.

During the DC & Helwani show on ESPN MMA, Daniel Cormier praised Roman Reigns and called him with MVP of WrestleMania 37. “Ultimately, my MVP, Roman Reigns. I mean the dude’s a beast man, dude is a beast. Like, I know him and I have our issues.”

“Reigns and I have our issues, and those aren’t done yet. But, the dude put on a show last night and I thought it was perfect the way that he pinned them both. Because, he’s supposed to pin them both, right? If you’re the big dog and you’re talking about doing stuff with me, you better pin Edge and Daniel Bryan together.”

Even though the win did not come clean, Reigns silenced his haters with an impressive win at WrestleMania. Despite Edge being the fan favourite to win the title, Reigns winning was the right decision. The triple threat stipulation would’ve helped protect Reigns, but WWE put him over as the dominant heel champion.

Reigns is in the best run of his career, but he has to lose the title sometime. A rematch against Edge could be coming at WrestleMania Backlash. If not Edge, Big E can be a potential challenger for Reigns since he isn’t IC Champion anymore.
