Daniel Bryan returned to Friday Night SmackDown three weeks after being decimated by Jey Uso. The leader of the Yes Movement trimmed down his long hair and world-famous beard.
This look was revealed some weeks back on Total Bellas. However, people’s reactions increased more during this week’s edition of SmackDown.
A fan from Twitter found this very new as Daniel Bryan hasn’t been seen in this avatar since the last five years. His long-time rival answered the fan’s question. The rival claimed Bryan is copying his idol.
The Miz and Daniel Bryan are on different paths and different brands currently. However, their saltiness towards each other seems to live forever. Things were different for Daniel Bryan this week on SmackDown. Not only did he get a new haircut, but he got some revenge as well.
After being made to ‘understand’ by Jey Uso weeks back on SmackDown, Bryan faced him in the main event. Uso looked as ruthless as ever since falling in line behind Roman Reigns.
However, as the match panned out, Bryan emerged victorious. This victory can spark a new rivalry on the brand.
At this moment, Roman Reigns will lock horns against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at Survivor Series. Jey Uso fell in line behind Reigns after Hell in a Cell which means the head of the table currently has no active feud.
Post Survivor Series, Bryan and Reigns can be a great feud for a couple of months. Bryan and Reigns haven’t been in a full-fledged feud to date.
The only time they were against each other in a rivalry was when Reigns was a part of The Shield and Bryan was a part of Team Hell No. Inter-testingly, Hell No was the first team to beat The Shield when Bryan made Rollins tap out.
This rivalry can light up the blue brand’s fortunes with Bryan and Reigns’ brilliant abilities in the ring and on the microphone. However, all of this is possible after Survivor Series.
