The Miz Uses His Wife Maryse as Bait to Assault Edge on WWE Raw

When Edge returned to WWE, he brought a lot of nostalgia for the WWE Universe. And, on tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, the Rated R superstar brought back his talk show ‘Cutting Edge’ after eight long years.
Last week the WWE Universe witnessed that The Miz’s wife Maryse slapped him, citing some marriage problems. Hence, Miz’s opponent at Day 1, Edge, invited Maryse to his talk show to address the situation and let the crowd know what she feels about her husband.

However, things turned wild for the Rated R Superstar as the former Intercontinental champion used his wife as bait to get to Edge and pulled off an impressive plot twist that no one saw coming.
The Miz got one up against Edge on WWE Raw
WWE Hall of Famer Edge welcomed the return of The Cutting Edge, claiming that he had waited a long time to say that. Edge then added that he and Maryse have little in common except for the fact that they’re both Canadian and frustrated with The Miz.

Maryse confessed to Edge that she was not there to bad mouth her husband, Miz. Instead, she appeared on The Cutting Edge because she needed a platform to speak about her personal life.

She said that everyone thinks she has this perfect life, but she is a person, and just wants a big thank you from her husband, for what she does at their home, for their businesses, and for every single thing she does for them.
"Most people know me as this Maryse that's bigger than life, everything's perfect, my life is perfect, I got it all together. At the end of the day, I'm a human being. Behind this Maryse, there's a human being that wants to be respected."

However, Edge bought none of this and realized that The Miz was using his wife as bait to get to him. He then called him out, and eventually, The Miz obliged.

Maryse walked away to the corner while Miz tried to sneak attack the Hall of Famer. However, things turned sideways when Miz’s wife struck Edge, allowing The Miz to hit him with a Skull Crushing Finale in the middle of the ring.

The couple then kissed in the ring while the WWE Universe was still coming to terms with what had happened.
