“The Most Handsome Man I Have Ever Seen”: Dwayne Johnson Once Took a Cheeky Dig at a Popular Social Media Star While Recounting Their First Meeting

As the road to WrestleMania 39 has officially opened, all fans can think about is the return of Dwayne Johnson. DJ is the former WWE champion and one of the highest-paid Hollywood stars and currently, fans are desperately waiting for his WWE comeback. 

We majorly know Dwayne Johnson as a friendly and kind star among fans. His sarcastic side doesn’t come out much but when it does the Hollywood star makes sure to unleash his full ability. Johnson does express it from time to time. And that’s what happened when a famous YouTuber asked him about their first meeting in a ‘Q&A’ session.

Lilly Singh is a Canada-based Indian YouTuber. She is known for making funny skits about her experience of being a brown kid. Singh portrays several characters in her videos. She even plays the characters of her brown parents, which are among her most popular ones. 

A few years back, Dwayne Johnson held a ‘Q&A’ session on his official YouTube channel, where YouTuber Lilly Singh asked him about their first meeting. To this Johnson sarcastically replied that the moment he looked into her eyes, he saw the most handsome man. Here, DJ is referring to himself as the handsome man whose reflection he saw in Singh’s eyes.

The Rock said, “I got to tell you…… Immediately, I saw in your eyes, like, wow. This is the most handsome man I have ever seen. I’m just saying. That’s what I saw. I thought you were amazing….I thought you were everything that you are–amazing, inspiring, beautiful….you know I love you….That’s it.”

Lilly Singh is a huge fan of wrestling and she has been following the WWE since her childhood. We can easily spot her love for WWE in her several old videos. Lilly has always considered Dwayne Johnson as her idol and she never hesitates to mention it whenever someone asks her about it.

Lilly Singh first met Dwayne Johnson in 2015 at the MTV Movie Awards. They have made several videos together and now both consider each other good friends. Lilly even mentioned once that now she is in a position where if she needs any advice, she will definitely call Dwayne.

Current status of The Rock in WWE

If we talk about the current status of The Rock’s return to WWE, then it is the most-awaited comeback that WWE Universe is expected at WrestleMania 39. However, WWE hasn’t officially made any statement about DJ’s comeback. And, even Dwayne Johnson said that he is not fit enough to return to the ring yet. But fans are still expecting his comeback. WWE WrestleMania is set to occur in Hollywood this year and that’s making fans’ belief in ‘The Rock Returns’ even stronger.
