Drew McIntyre had an impeccable run to the top when his second tenure started in WWE. The meek Scotsman has now turned into the “Scottish Psychopath” and has had two title reigns within one year.

He won his first title from Brock Lesnar in the main event of night 2 at WrestleMania last year. Although his victory came at a time when the world was pandemic-stricken, the title win was pivotal nonetheless.

McIntyre has regularly appeared at WrestleMania since his return to WWE in 2017. Although he won against the Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania, the Psychopath has also had his share of losses at the grandest stage of them all.

After his re-debut on the main roster of RAW, McIntyre had some brief alliances and feuds. However, he embarked upon a great one as he started feuding with Roman Reigns.

Back then, Roman Reigns had just recovered from Leukemia. He and the SHIELD got reunited to some extent. But McIntyre constantly pestered Reigns over his inability to be the performer he once was.

However, things got heated when McIntyre ridiculed Reigns’ ailment and his family. This was the ultimate straw for Reigns, and he accepted the challenge to face Drew McIntyre at the upcoming WrestleMania 35.

The match was McIntyre’s first match as a proper solo performer. Before that, he was a part of tag team matches and Battle Royales. On the other hand, Reigns was always the “top dog.”

McIntyre dominated Reigns throughout the match. However, when McIntyre attacked Reigns with a “Glasgow Kiss”, Reigns countered it with a superman punch and a spear to shockingly win the match.

This would be the two performers’ last interaction until very recently. McIntyre as WWE Champion challenged Reigns as Universal champion for brand supremacy at Survivor Series.

Reigns won the match this time as well (with some external help). Till now, Roman Reigns remains the only superstar to beat McIntyre at WrestleMania.

Although, that could change at this year’s mania. McIntyre has challenged current WWE Champion Bobby Lashley for the title. Although McIntyre is strong, Lashley has been almost invincible recently.
