Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Cody Rhodes are two of the most over candidates to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. And while it is almost confirmed that The Rock will be the one facing the Tribal Chief, we never know for sure if WWE will decide to change the plans due to the severe backlash it faces from the audience. And it seems like the Judgment Day member, Dominik Mysterio, is also against this booking decision.

He doesn’t believe that The Rock should attain a chance at the gold. But he also thinks it shouldn’t be ‘The American Nightmare’ as well. In fact, he has a third name in mind. Let’s find out more, shall we?

The WWE Universe displayed their frustration at the booking decision to steal Cody Rhodes’ spotlight and give it to the Rock. Social media echoed one common sentiment amongst the fans. The wrestling community called for justice and a change in the booking. Taking advantage of the situation, Dominik Mysterio wanted to weave a different narrative altogether. The Judgment Day member conveyed that Rhodes was ‘a**’ and The Rock= ‘Cheeks’. Moreover, he opined that fans should demand for 2024 Mr. Money in the Bank, Damian Priest to feature in the main event vs. the Tribal Chief. “@CodyRhodes = Ass, @TheRock = Cheeks #WeWantSeñorMIB”.

In fact, Rhea Ripley, too, approves the message, as she reposted it on her X account. Damian Priest won the Money in the Bank briefcase in London last year. It’s been 6 months, but he still hasn’t made official use of the contract, despite having threatened with his intention occasionally.

Currently, WWE’s World Heavyweight Champion is Seth Rollins, and that seems to be Damian Priest’s goal, although the question many are asking is when the trade will happen. It should also be noted that Priest currently holds the tag team belt with Finn Balor, as the two managed to retain the Undisputed Tag Team Championships after defeating #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) in a traditional tag team match.
